Privacy Policy
What Information We Collect and How
We collect information in three ways: directly from you, through our website platform, and through third-party tools we use to run our practice.
Information you provide directly: When you fill out a contact form or submit an intake request, we may ask for your name, email address, phone number, and a brief description of your legal matter. Email is the only required field. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through our website forms — including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, financial account numbers, or similar data. If you choose to submit sensitive information, you do so at your own risk.
Information collected automatically: Squarespace, our website platform, automatically collects certain technical data when you visit this site — including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and how you arrived at our site. We use this to keep the site running properly. We do not control Squarespace’s data practices; you can review their privacy policy at squarespace.com.
Third-party tools: We use Clio and other third-party tools to manage client matters and communications, and scheduling software to book consultations. If you schedule a call or become a client, those platforms will collect information directly from you subject to their own privacy policies. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with unaffiliated third parties except as described in this policy.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, schedule consultations, and manage our attorney-client relationship where one is formed. We may follow up with you about your matter or our services. If you’d prefer we didn’t, just let us know.
How We Protect Your Information
We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but protecting client confidentiality is a professional obligation we take seriously.
Who Has Access
We do not sell or rent your information. We may share it in limited circumstances:
- With service providers who assist us in operating our practice (such as Clio and our scheduling platform), under obligations of confidentiality;
- If we are unable to assist you but can refer you to another attorney, with your consent;
- As required by law or court order;
- In connection with a transfer of our business assets, if applicable.
